As for the whole singel player stuff i was thinking that you oughta follow the story (duh :roll: ) but hear this !
¤At the begining it should be like training where you're still in the acadamy, also known as "chapter 1 - the Demon kid". When playing that chapter you will be guided by a NPC or just some text somewhere on the screen. the Text (im gonna say text.) will tell you how to run,jump, super jump, etc etc. You would also get to fight a bot to try out your new found moves in-action. I guess you can call it a final boss :P
¤After that you graduate and you get a new chapter.
¤Ok now you have got Chapter 2. This chapter should just be that escort mission Naruto & co took. There should be a cut scene before you leave Konoha. And shortly after you leave you'll get attacked by those two ninjas with the chains.
¤the story should only have the good stuff in it. Like the battle with that demon guy zabuza, ( 2 battles. 1 only zabuza 2 zabuza and that mask kid) the chuunin exams exam 2 and 3. i guess no one wanna sit trough a quiz when playing NNC ?
¤And now about the Character select.
¤You can either have it like this : You select a character at chapter 1 and play as that character throug-out the whole singel player campaign.
¤Or you could have it like this : When selecting a chapter a Character select screen pops up so you can change character after each chapter ! the starting characters should be Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. (i preffer this one)
*Characters gets unlocked as you play trough the singel player campaign* (Multiplayer allready has all the characters i guess)
Now this will probably ( -.- ) be very hard to code, model and map. so this is just a distant future idea.
